of services to support our membership:
The Technical and quality assistance
offered from the staff continually enhances
the distribution systems which deliver energy
solutions to the end user.
Consultation services are available to conduct
environmental and safety compliance
audits as well as technical services
in the area of power transmission operations.
The Power Requirements Study
annually forecasts CIPCO’s future
electric demand and energy needs based on
the individual requirements for its member
cooperative systems.
The communication support,
accessible to all members, range from advertising
and promotion support, newsletter design,
articles, website design, and support for
the Touchstone
Energy® program.
A variety of training sessions
are offered including annual workshops on
customer service; technical training; communication
skills; personal development and key account
training.
CIPCO purchases renewable energy
enabling member systems to offer green energy
options. Through these types of programs,
CIPCO supports Iowa’s development
of renewable energy resources.
Questline is
a technical information and research hotline
service of the Iowa
Area Development Group. Questline provides
fast, unlimited and confidential responses
to companies within IADG’s service
area with questions regarding new technologies,
energy efficiency, environmental, regulatory
